Hi, Iām Akshay, a visual artist based in Mauritius. My work is shaped by travel and the exploration of cultures that are often forgotten, misinterpreted, or untold. Through sketches, paintings, photography, and installations, I document encounters with people and places particularly across West Asia. My work reflects on cultural narratives, political realities, and the personal experience of moving through unfamiliar landscapes.
