India is both a place of study and an ongoing journey—one that cannot be completed within a single lifetime. Each village and region holds its own history, language and rhythm, forming an ever-expanding landscape of experience. I return every year, and over time, this engagement has grown into an extensive body of sketches and works—enough to exist as a dedicated exhibition. Kerala remains a place of belonging, while Khairagarh, where I spent five formative years, feels like a second home. Across India, inspiration is constant.
